How did you get started as a cat sitter?

I fell in love with Kitty who I adopted in 2001. I then began to read book after book about cat behavior, psychology, and health. I even explored cat astrology and whether cats have E.S.P.! Eventually I discovered the pet section of Craig's List and saw a need for reliable, caring pet sitters. I also adopted two littermate kittens.

Are you a veterinarian?

No, I'm a professional pet-sitter specializing in cats. I also walk some very sweet dogs. My education is in writing and I have an MFA from the Writers' Workshop in Iowa. No charge for talking about poetry.
